Terms of Use
Last updated: August 20, 2026
These Terms govern your use of zamblek.com and everything you buy from us — the licence you get, how a purchase works, and what each of us is responsible for. Please read them before you use the Site or place an order.
1. Agreement to These Terms
The Zamblek website at https://zamblek.com and its contents are owned by Zamblek ("Company", "we", "us", "our"). By using the Site, creating an account, or buying from us, you accept these Terms and confirm you have the authority to enter into them. You must be at least 18 years old. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
These Terms are the master agreement. The following policies form part of them and are incorporated by reference:
- Privacy Policy — what we do with personal information;
- Cookie Policy — every cookie we set;
- Payment and Compliance Notice — who takes your money, tax, invoices, and card handling;
- Refund Policy — when we refund;
- Support Policy — what support covers and for how long.
Where a product page, a plan description, or a written custom agreement sets different terms for a specific purchase, those terms come first for that purchase. Otherwise these Terms apply. We may revise them as described in section 16.
2. What We Sell
We sell self-hosted software products — delivered as source code plus a licence key, for you to install and run on your own server or publish to an app store under your own developer account. We also provide development services such as customisation, deployment, and design work, quoted separately and governed by whatever we agree in writing for that project.
Check the requirements before you buy. Every product page lists what it needs to run, and demos are available. Because our products run in your environment, you are responsible for confirming that your hosting, platform versions, and any third-party services you plan to connect are compatible. A purchase made without checking is not a defect.
Our products integrate with third-party services and platforms that we do not control. Those services can change their terms, pricing, or APIs, or withdraw features, at any time. We keep our products working with them where we reasonably can, but we cannot guarantee a third party will keep behaving as it does today.
3. Accounts & Security
You need an account to buy, download, and get support. Give us accurate details and keep them current — your licence, your downloads, and your invoices all attach to the email address on the account. You may create an account directly or sign in with a supported third-party provider.
Your credentials are yours to protect. You are responsible for everything done through your account, so choose a strong password, do not share it, and turn on two-factor authentication if you can. Tell us immediately if you think someone else has access. You can review and end your active sessions from your account settings at any time.
One person or organisation, one account. We may suspend or close an account for payment fraud, chargeback abuse, sharing licence keys or downloads, running scripts against the Site, or breaching these Terms.
4. Your Product Licence
When you buy a product, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide licence to use it on the terms of the plan you bought. We keep ownership of the product; you are buying a licence to use it, not the copyright in it.
4.1 What each plan grants
- Regular — use the product on one website, for yourself or for a client, where end users are not charged to access it. It does not permit reselling the product, or building it into something you sell.
- Extended — everything in Regular, plus the right to use the product inside an end product that you sell, including running it as a paid service for your own customers. Still one website per licence.
- Subscription — ongoing access to the product on one website, billed monthly or yearly, for as long as the subscription is active.
Extended and Subscription licences can include extra benefits and features. On Sngine, those plans include Payments & Monetization — and more. We recommend checking the Pricing table before you buy.
Each licence covers one website. Every website counts, including staging. Only localhost and .dev domains do not count. A second website needs a second licence. See our Pricing page for how each plan is priced.
4.2 What you may do
Install and run the product, and modify the source code for your own use on the site it is licensed for. Modified files are yours to keep, but they fall outside what we can support — see the Support Policy. Keep our copyright and licence notices intact in the source.
4.3 What you may not do
- redistribute, resell, sublicense, rent, lend, or give away the product files, modified or not;
- publish our source code, or upload it anywhere it can be downloaded by people who have not bought a licence;
- use one licence across multiple websites, or share a licence key between accounts;
- repackage the product, or a derivative of it, as a competing product or template for sale;
- remove, obscure, or circumvent licence validation, or use a key you did not obtain from us or from an authorised marketplace;
- use our branding, name, or logos to present your version as ours.
4.4 Licence keys, expiry, and migration
Your licence key is tied to your account and is personal to you. Treat it like a password.
A one-time licence does not expire. It includes twelve months of updates and support; when that period ends the product you have keeps working, and you keep the right to use it — you simply stop receiving new updates and support until you renew. A subscription is different: access is tied to the subscription being active, subject to the grace period described on our Pricing page.
If you bought one of our products on Envato/CodeCanyon, you can migrate that licence to us. A Regular licence stays Regular and an Extended licence stays Extended — the same rights, carried across, with any remaining support carried with it.
Once that support period expires you stop receiving support and updates. Lifetime updates are no longer available — we have moved away from Envato Market.
5. Purchases, Prices & Delivery
Freemius is the merchant of record for every product sale. It owns the checkout, takes the payment, calculates and remits tax, issues your invoice, and processes refunds and chargebacks — which is why your bank statement shows Freemius, not Zamblek. Your card details never reach us. The full detail is in our Payment and Compliance Notice, which forms part of these Terms.
Prices are shown on the product and Pricing pages and may change at any time. A change never affects a purchase you have already completed, and we will tell you before a new price applies to a subscription renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; one-time licences never renew on their own.
Delivery is digital and immediate. Once payment is confirmed, your licence and downloads appear in your account. We may hold an order briefly for fraud or sanctions screening.
If you are a consumer in the EU or UK, you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. Because this is digital content delivered immediately, you are asked at checkout to agree that supply begins right away and to acknowledge that you lose the right to withdraw once you download or activate the product. This does not affect your statutory rights if the product is faulty or not as described, and it does not limit our Refund Policy, which is often more generous.
6. Support & Refunds
Support. Every product purchase includes technical support for the period attached to your plan. What support covers, what it does not, response times, and how to open a ticket are set out in our Support Policy. Support is provided in English through our support desk; we do not commit to support outside the scope described there.
Refunds. Our Refund Policy sets out when we refund, including the money-back guarantee on new purchases and what falls outside it. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected by anything in that policy or these Terms.
Talk to us before opening a chargeback. A ticket is almost always faster, and a dispute raised against a legitimate purchase may lead us to suspend the related licence, downloads, and support while the payment provider reviews it.
7. Access to the Site
7.1 Using the website
You may use this website for its intended purposes — reading about our products, buying, downloading, and getting support — for yourself or for the organisation you represent. This section is about the website and its content, not about products you have licensed; those are governed by section 4.
7.2 Restrictions on the website
In relation to the Site itself, you shall not:
- sell, rent, lease, host, or otherwise commercially exploit the Site or its content;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source of the Site;
- copy the Site's design, text, or structure to build a competing website;
- republish or redistribute any part of the Site except as these Terms permit.
All copyright and proprietary notices must be retained on any permitted copy. Nothing here restricts what you may lawfully do with a product you have licensed under section 4.
7.3 Changes to the Site
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Site at any time. We will not do this in a way that takes away a licence you have already paid for, but we are not liable for changes to the website itself, or for it being briefly unavailable.
7.4 Ownership
Excluding content you provide, all intellectual property in the Site and in our products — copyrights, trademarks, designs, source code, documentation, and branding — belongs to the Company or its licensors. Buying a licence does not transfer ownership of anything.
8. Your Content
"Your Content" means anything you send us through the Site. You are responsible for it, and you confirm it is yours to send and does not infringe anyone's rights or breach section 9. We treat it differently depending on what it is.
8.1 Product reviews
A review is meant to be published, so by posting one you give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display and reproduce it on the Site and in our marketing, alongside your account name. We may moderate reviews and decline or remove any that breach section 9. You can ask us to remove your review at any time.
8.2 Support tickets and attachments
Tickets are confidential. We use what you send — messages, logs, screenshots, code, credentials you should not have sent — solely to answer your ticket and improve the product, and we do not publish it or pass it to anyone outside the people handling your request. We claim no licence to reuse it beyond that. Keep your own copies of anything you need; a ticket is not a backup service.
8.3 Job applications
Your CV, cover letter, and application details are confidential and used only to assess your application. We claim no licence over them. Our Privacy Policy says how long we keep them and how to ask us to delete them sooner.
8.4 Removal
We may remove content that breaches these Terms or the law. We will not delete your licences, order history, or support history while your account is open, except as section 14 describes.
9. Acceptable Use
You agree not to submit, upload, or transmit anything that:
- violates any third-party right or intellectual-property right;
- is unlawful, harassing, abusive, threatening, harmful, invasive of privacy, defamatory, false, misleading, obscene, or patently offensive;
- promotes racism, bigotry, hatred, or physical harm against any group or individual;
- is harmful to minors in any way;
- violates any applicable law or regulation.
You also agree not to:
- upload or transmit software intended to damage or alter a computer system or data;
- send unsolicited bulk messages, junk mail, spam, or chain letters through our forms or our support desk;
- harvest or collect information about other users, or scrape the Site with automated tools;
- interfere with, disrupt, or impose an undue burden on the servers or networks behind the Site;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, another account, or our systems, by any means;
- exploit a security vulnerability rather than reporting it to us privately, or publish one before we have had a fair chance to fix it;
- bypass, disable, or tamper with licence validation, or use a licence key you did not obtain legitimately;
- redistribute, resell, or publicly post our product files, in whole or in part;
- use automated agents or scripts to create multiple accounts or generate automated requests;
- abuse payments — fraudulent orders, stolen cards, or chargebacks raised instead of contacting support.
If you find a security issue, please report it privately through our Contact page — no account needed — and give us a fair chance to fix it before telling anyone else. We will investigate and take appropriate action for breaches of this section — removing content, suspending or closing accounts, cancelling licences obtained or used in breach, and reporting to the authorities where warranted.
10. Third-Party Services & Links
The Site links to third-party websites and services — demo sites, hosting and platform providers, and listings in our Marketplace, which are themes and add-ons built and sold by other developers. We neither sell nor support marketplace items; your purchase and support relationship there is with the developer, on their terms.
None of these are under our control. We link to them as a convenience and do not review, endorse, or warrant them, and we are not responsible for their content, availability, pricing changes, outages, account restrictions, or security incidents. You use them at your own risk, under their own terms and privacy practices.
Affiliate links. Some outbound links — for example to hosting providers we recommend — are affiliate links, and we may earn a commission if you buy through one. It costs you nothing extra and never changes what we recommend.
Each user is responsible for their own content. If a dispute arises between you and another user, we are under no obligation to become involved.
11. Privacy & Cookies
Our Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, why, who processes it for us, and what you can ask us to do with it.
We use strictly necessary cookies to make the Site work, plus optional analytics cookies that stay off until you accept them. We run no advertising and no ad-targeting cookies. Our Cookie Policy lists every cookie we set and lets you change your choice at any time.
12. Disclaimers
The Site and our products are provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and conditions of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory — including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, accuracy, and non-infringement.
We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that a product will be free of defects or will meet your specific requirements. Our products run in environments we do not control, and we cannot warrant compatibility with every host, platform version, or third-party service.
Nothing in this section removes rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded by law — including the right to a product that matches its description and is of satisfactory quality. Where such rights apply, they stand alongside these Terms.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for lost profits, lost revenue, lost or corrupted data, business interruption, the cost of substitute products, or any indirect, consequential, incidental, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from these Terms, the Site, or any product — even if we were told such damages were possible.
Our total liability for all claims arising from or connected to these Terms, the Site, or a product is limited to the amount you paid us for the product or service giving rise to the claim in the twelve months before the claim arose. More than one claim does not enlarge that limit.
These limits do not apply to liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, gross negligence or wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited or excluded under the law that applies to you. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
You remain responsible for backing up your site and data before installing, updating, or modifying any product.
14. Term, Suspension & Termination
These Terms apply for as long as you use the Site or hold a licence from us. You may close your account at any time; closing it does not by itself entitle you to a refund, and does not revoke a one-time licence you lawfully bought.
We may suspend or close your account, and cancel licences and access, where we reasonably believe there has been payment fraud, chargeback abuse, use of a stolen card, licence misuse or unauthorised redistribution, a breach of section 9, or a serious breach of these Terms. Where it is practical and lawful to do so, we will tell you first and give you a chance to put it right.
On closure you lose access to downloads, updates, and support. We keep the records we are required to keep, as described in the Privacy Policy.
The following survive termination: Your Product Licence (for restrictions on files you still hold), Your Content, Disclaimers, Limitation of Liability, Copyright Policy, and General.
15. Copyright Policy
We respect other people's intellectual property and ask the same of everyone who uses the Site. We remove infringing material and close the accounts of repeat infringers.
If you believe material on the Site infringes a copyright you own, write to us through our Contact page — you do not need an account — with "copyright complaint" as the subject, including:
- your physical or electronic signature;
- identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed;
- identification of the allegedly infringing material and where it appears on the Site;
- enough information for us to locate the material;
- your address, telephone number, and email address;
- a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your information is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner.
We will acknowledge your notice and act on it promptly. Knowingly misrepresenting that material is infringing may make you liable for the damages, costs, and legal fees we or the affected user incur.
16. General
16.1 Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time and will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of the page. If we make substantial changes, we may notify you by email to the address on your account and by posting a notice on the Site; those changes take effect thirty (30) days after notice. The version in force when you made a purchase is the one that governs that purchase.
16.2 Electronic communications
We communicate with you electronically — by email and through the Site. You agree that these satisfy any legal requirement for communications to be in writing.
16.3 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms, or a licence granted under them, without our written consent. We may assign them to a successor or a buyer of our business, provided your rights are not reduced.
16.4 Entire agreement & severability
These Terms and the policies incorporated in section 1 are the entire agreement between you and the Company on this subject. Our failure to enforce a right is not a waiver of it. If any provision is held invalid or unenforceable, it is modified to the minimum extent needed to make it enforceable, or severed, and the rest remains in force.
16.5 Copyright & trademarks
Copyright © 2015 - 2026 Zamblek. All rights reserved. All trademarks, logos, and service marks on the Site are the property of the Company or of third parties. You may not use them without prior written consent.
16.6 Contact
For anything about these Terms, a licence, an order, or a product, write to us through our Contact page — no account needed. If you already have an account and your question is about a product you own, a ticket from Support reaches the right team fastest.
