Refund Policy

Last updated: August 20, 2026

This policy explains when Zamblek refunds a purchase, when it does not, and how to ask us to review your order. It applies to everything bought through zamblek.com and complements our Terms of Use.

1. Overview

Everything Zamblek sells is digital and delivered immediately: source code, licence keys, downloads, updates, and support. There is nothing to ship back, and a download cannot be un-downloaded — so refunds are reviewed case by case rather than granted automatically.

Our payments are handled by Freemius, which acts as the merchant of record for every Zamblek product sale. Freemius takes the payment, issues your invoice, handles tax, and processes any refund we approve. Your card or bank statement will show Freemius rather than Zamblek.

Nothing in this policy takes away rights that consumer law in your country gives you and that cannot be waived by agreement. Where the law requires a repair, replacement, price reduction, or refund, that requirement comes first.

2. The 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee

If, within 7 days of your first purchase, you run into an issue that makes the product unusable and our support team is unable to resolve it, we will consider a full refund of your money.

This is a defect-based guarantee, not a no-questions-asked trial. The starting point is always support: tell us what is broken, give us a fair chance to fix it, and if we cannot make the product work for you, we refund. Requests where the product works as described — a change of mind, a feature we never advertised, or a conflict with unrelated third-party software — fall outside the guarantee.

Where the law gives you a cancellation period for digital content, that right normally ends once the download, licence activation, or delivery begins with your consent, which is what happens the moment a purchase completes here. That does not affect your rights if the product is faulty or was misdescribed.

3. When We Approve a Refund

We will normally approve a refund in the following situations:

  • A core advertised feature does not work in a supported environment, and we cannot fix it or offer a reasonable workaround within a reasonable time.
  • The product is materially different from its description, screenshots, demo, or the list of included files shown before purchase.
  • You were charged twice for the same licence, or charged the wrong amount.
  • Payment succeeded but your licence or download was never delivered because of a fault on our side.

4. What Is Not Refundable

Unless the law requires otherwise, we do not refund:

  • A change of mind after the product has been downloaded or the licence activated.
  • Buying the wrong plan when the differences between Regular, Extended, and subscription licences were published on our pricing page before purchase.
  • Not having the server, hosting, or development knowledge the product requires. Our products are for people comfortable running and maintaining their own software.
  • Unsupported or misconfigured hosting: unmet requirements, outdated tooling, missing third-party accounts, or local configuration problems.
  • Problems introduced on your side — modified code, removed files, changed dependencies, or conflicts with other software you installed.
  • Changes outside our control, such as a third-party API being discontinued, an app store rejection, or a payment provider changing its rules.
  • Requests for free customisation, redesign, new features, or installation work that was not part of what you bought.

4.1 Renewals, upgrades, and extensions

The 7-day guarantee covers your first payment for a product. Subscription renewals, plan upgrades, extra licences, and support-and-updates renewals are not refundable. If you do not want a subscription to continue, cancel it before its renewal date — you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for, plus the 30-day grace period described on our pricing page.

4.2 Custom services

Custom development, installation, and configuration work is quoted separately and governed by the terms of that quote. Once work has started, completed work, hours already spent, and non-recoverable costs such as purchased third-party resources are not refundable. If something prevents us from completing the work, we will agree a fix or a partial refund with you directly.

4.3 Marketplace items

Items listed on our Marketplace by third-party developers are bought from that developer, not from Zamblek. Their own refund terms apply, and refund requests for those items should go to them.

5. How to Request a Refund

Open a ticket from your Support area within 7 days of purchase. To let us review it properly, please include:

  • the order or invoice reference from your Freemius receipt email;
  • the product and licence type you bought;
  • a clear description of what is not working;
  • the steps to reproduce it, and what you have already tried;
  • your environment — server, PHP or platform version, product version — plus any error logs or screenshots.

We may ask for more detail so we can reproduce the problem, and where it makes sense we will first offer a fix, replacement files, corrected access, or updated instructions. If we cannot repair or replace within a reasonable time, we approve a full or partial refund.

Please talk to us before opening a chargeback or payment dispute. A ticket is almost always faster. If a dispute is opened, we may suspend the related licence, downloads, and support access while the payment provider reviews it. We may also decline refunds and restrict access where we reasonably believe there is fraud, chargeback abuse, licence misuse, or unauthorised redistribution.

6. After a Refund Is Approved

Approved refunds are returned by Freemius to the original payment method. How quickly the money appears depends on your bank or card issuer. Currency conversion differences and bank fees are outside our control.

A refund cancels the licence it paid for. As soon as it is processed, the licence stops working and access ends — downloads, product updates, support eligibility, and any licence key you activated on a site or app. If you were using the product in production, it will stop being licensed.

Continuing to use, copy, or distribute a product after it has been refunded is a breach of your licence and of our Terms of Use.

7. Changes & Contact

We may update this policy as our products and payment arrangements change, and will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of the page when we do. The policy in force at the time of your purchase is the one that applies to that purchase.

For anything about a refund, an invoice, or an order, open a ticket from Support. You can also review our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
